William G. Martin, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Martin, a specialist in cataract and laser vision correction, has been on the forefront of major advances in the area of vision correction over the past 25 years. He is the Medical Director and Chief Surgeon for OptiVue. Prior to this position, he was the Director of the Cleveland Eye Clinic for four years. He performed his internship at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and his residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Martin attended Medical School at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Dr. Martin has been a staff member at the University Medical Center at Toledo since 1981. He has also taught at medical universities around the world and across the United States. Dr. Martin is one of only three eye surgeons in Ohio who are board certified in both cataract surgery and laser vision correction by the American Board of Eye Surgery and is a patent holder in intraocular lens technology.

Dr. Martin is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Eye Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Intraocular Lens Implant Society, the American College of Surgeons, the Ohio Ophthalmologic Society and the Toledo Academy of Medicine. He holds licenses in Ohio, Michigan, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Martin believes that sight is one of our most precious gifts. He has spent his entire career trying to preserve and improve vision by offering the most advanced surgical techniques and using state of the art equipment. He continues his legacy through the teaching and educational support he offers students studying surgery and ophthalmology from the Medical University of Ohio.


 
Daniel J. Lin, M.D.

Dr. Lin graduated and obtained his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and spent his ophthalmology residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Lin completed his fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastics with Thomas C. Spoor at St. John Health System in Michigan.

Dr. Lin is a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has subspecialty interests in the areas of neuro-opthalmology and oculoplastics, including various eyelid abnormalities, complex dry eyes, eye muscle deviations, orbital processes, and cosmetic facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Lin holds a medical license from the States of Ohio and Michigan and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.


 
Alexander Chop, PhD, M.D.

Fellow at University of Toledo School of Medicine

Dr. Chop graduated and obtained his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE and completed is ophthalmology residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland through Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Chop holds a medical license from the States of Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and California.


 
James Rademacher, M.D

Dr. Rademacher graduated and obtained his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and spent his ophthalmology residency at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Rademacher holds a medical license from the State of Ohio and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and the Dayton Area Society of Ophthalmology.


 
Jodi L. Kessinger, O.D.

Dr. Kessinger is a doctorate graduate of The Ohio State University School of Optometry. She began practicing Optometry in 1995. Dr. Kessinger concentrates her practice on working with LASIK, laser vision correction, patients during both their pre and post-operative care.

Dr. Kessinger holds an optometric license from the State of Ohio. She is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, the Optometric Refractive Surgery Society and Epsilon Psi Epsilon Professional Optometric Fraternity.


 
Kelly C. K. Tierney O.D.

Dr. Tierney is a 2007 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. She enjoys all aspects of optometry and concentrates the majority of her practice on primary care optometry, pediatrics, post-operative care and the treatment and management of ocular diseases.

Dr. Tierney holds an optometric license in the states of Ohio and Michigan, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association and Michigan Optometric Association. She is also an InfantSEE provider.


 
Leighan R. Monroe, O.D.

 

Dr. Leighan Monroe is a 2006 graduate of the University of Missourri, St. Louis. She enjoys all facets of the profession of optometry and spends the majority of her time in primary care optometry, post-operative care, and the treatment and management of ocular diseases.

Dr. Monroe holds her license in the State of Ohio, and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Ohio Optometric Association.

 
Aaron J. Burks, Au.D.

Dr. Aaron Burks graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Hearing Services and earned a Doctorate of Audiology from Kent State University. Dr. Burks is a member of the Council for Accreditation on Occupational Hearing Conservation and has a license in the State of Ohio from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
